Situated on the South Coast, Weymouth and Portland is the most southerly point of Dorset, rich in Roman and Celtic history. Most of the club finds have been found here, dating back from the Bronze Age through to the Modern Day.
Our meetings are very informal; members are encouraged to bring along their monthly finds, chat to other like minded enthusiasts and learn about this fascinating pastime. Meetings are held on the third Monday of every month with regular guest speakers and club competitions.
The club was established in 1990 and the membership is limited to 75 but we are currently full. However, the number wishing to join is small so please contact the club if you wish to be added to the waiting list. Individuals applying to join can come along to a club meeting as a guest.
